Live selling turns a slow week into a sell-out in one evening. That is the good news. The bad news is that most clothing suppliers are built for seasons, not for Tuesday night. Before you commit, ask these seven questions.
1. How fast can you restock a style that sells?
This is the question that matters most. A style that sells out on stream is only worth something if more stock arrives while the audience still remembers it. Ask for the restock lead time per style, not a general answer.
2. Can you send sample kits for the stream?
You need the pieces in hand before you sell them: to try on, to show the fabric, to answer questions about fit. A good supplier sends a sample kit of new styles on a regular rhythm.
3. Do you supply photos and short video?
Listings need clean product photos. Streams and short videos need movement. If the supplier can give you both, you save a shoot every week.
4. How many new styles each month?
Your audience comes back for something new. Ask how many new styles the supplier releases, and how early you see them.
5. What are the minimums, and can I mix colours?
Small sellers need small minimums, and the freedom to split a style across colours and sizes. Get this in writing per style.
6. Can my label go on it?
As your shop grows, your own label builds trust and repeat buyers. Ask whether woven labels, hang tags and packaging can carry your brand.
7. Who do I talk to when something goes wrong?
A wrong size run or a late shipment needs one person who answers, quickly, in a language you both use. Ask who that is.
